Open Day in the Montgomery County Master Gardens Join Master Gardeners on Saturday, April 9th for a FREE special event to tour the 15 demonstration gardens to learn ideas and practices that may be helpful in your garden. At 8:30 am, registered individuals meet in the Thomas R. LeRoy Education building at Montgomery County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. Following introductions, small groups will meet their tour guides and proceed to the starting point for the guided tour of the gardens. At the conclusion of the tour, participants may visit with Master Gardener specialists in any of the gardens to ask questions, seek information on best plants, best gardening practices and sources for future reference. Please note that at this time, only one garden meets ADA guidelines; however, several other gardens may be viewed from concrete/blacktop surfaces.
