Join us in celebrating Addy's birthday with a children's tour of Historic Stagville. We'll explore the history of slavery through the story of the Walker family, whose journey to freedom inspired this well-known children's book. You'll visit a historic slave dwelling, artifacts, and archeology sites to learn about the lives and culture of enslaved families in North Carolina
This tour is intended for 3rd-6th grade students, and an adult should attend with each child.
This tour will be limited to groups of 12 people. Much of the tour is outdoors, and the tour includes walking over grass, gravel, and uneven surfaces.
