Description

Come create with Michelle and learn to craft herbal medicine to support your mind, body, and soul Happy Spring! Come learn how to incorporate herbs into your life and use them in food and medicine. In this instructor-led class you will begin your very own medicinal herb garden and decorate your own seed pots--You can grow a respectable herbal apothecary in pots. In fact, some of the most beneficial medicinal herbs will positively thrive in containers placed right on your porch or patio. These herbs will round out any medicine chest and add beauty to your home. Adaptogens, first-aid herbs, digestives, and relaxing remedies are all represented. In addition you will learn hearty medicinal tidbits for each plant, alongside the “green thumb” information you need to shower your medicinal herbs with proper TLC. There will be a variety of plants available to select from and there will be supplies available to decorate your pot! Every participant will leave with starters for 4-5 medicinal plants for their very own medicinal herb garden! Some herbal allies that will be featured in this workshop are Lemon Verbena, White Sage, Lavender, Holy Basil (tulsi), Bee Balm, Calendula, Parsley, Thyme & Rosemary About The Artist: Michelle Beck is a Biologist with a passion for eco based art and foraging.
