Automotive Technician Support AMERITRUCK, LLC • CHARLOTTE, NC, US A family-owned and operated commercial truck dealership for over 25 years, Ameritruck is seeking a hardworking, dependable person to join our team! The candidate should have basic mechanical knowledge/aptitude (preferably with diesel engines) and the ability to perform a variety of tasks and directions in a timely and accurate manner as related to retail vehicle prep/delivery and lot maintenance. We provide excellent benefits and a Monday - Friday work week, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Responsibilities • Verify and ensure that all vehicles are operational and ready for delivery by checking fluids, lights, fuel, A/C systems, etc. • Pickup and deliver parts when necessary (valid drivers license required) • Maintain vehicles on lot by tasks including but not limited to identifying mechanical issues, installing mud flaps and 1/4 fender flaps, loading/testing batteries as needed, starting vehicles regularly and checking and managing fuel levels • Assisting the logistics coordinator and sales team • Perform vehicle and lot maintenance/cleaning daily • Keep equipment, buildings and work areas clean and orderly Qualifications • Valid drivers license and personal transportation • Ability to perform physical lifting and tasks and be able climb in and out of commercial trucks • General automotive mechanical knowledge and aptitude preferably with diesel engines • Tolerance for working in all weather conditions • Complete minor mechanical repairs • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not required Compensation $16 hourly About Ameritruck, LLC We are a well-established (26 years) family-owned commercial truck dealership in Charlotte, NC. We sell all makes and models of commercial used trucks to a customer base that covers the entire United States. Our hours are 8 AM-5 PM, Monday to Friday with all weekends off.
