East End golf club has an immediate opening for a maintenance/custodial/porter. Essential Duties • Assist Maintenance Supervisor in daily operating duties to help keep the club in proper working order while constantly looking for areas of improvement and efficiency. • Perform preventative maintenance throughout the buildings. • Help ensure the daily cleanliness and functionality of the club including trash collection and light bulb replacement. • Troubleshoot clubhouse/facility issues and work collaboratively with the supervisor or other staff members to resolve immediate operational and/or safety concerns. • Assist in event setup. • Perform light plumbing duties to keep the systems operational and in proper working order. • Complete requests in a timely manner with a positive attitude. • Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications. • High School diploma or GED required. • Post-secondary vocational/ technical training in electrical engineering, or HVAC desirable. • Previous maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting desirable. • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. • Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position. • Attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and stay on task to complete assignments.
