Long Delays Possible At I-495, Route 9 After Truck Overturns

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Police were warning drivers to expect long delays Monday along Route 9 at the I-495 interchange after a truck overturned. The truck flipped over along the ramp from southbound I-495 to westbound Route 9, according to MassDOT. The incident was blocking that ramp, plus the right lanes of Route 9. "This will be a long duration event," Westborough police said in a tweet Monday. The truck spilled a large amount of debris onto the roadway, according to an image released by Westborough police. A tow truck was on scene as of 2 p.m. to remove the truck.
