PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A person walking between two subway cars was killed Sunday evening in Park Slope when he slipped and fell to the tracks, according to reports and the MTA. The as-yet-unidentified man was going between the cars of a southbound F train near the Seventh Avenue subway station at Ninth Street about 5:45 p.m. when he slipped and fell onto the subway tracks, police told the New York Post. The MTA confirmed a person was struck by a train at the station on Twitter. First responders rushed to the station, but the straphanger was pronounced dead at the scene, having been hit by the train after his fall, according to the report. The man's identifying information, including his name and age, wasn't released as of Sunday. Police didn't immediately respond to Patch's request for comment. Northbound F and G trains were delayed for over an hour after the incident, MTA tweets show.
