SALEM, MA — A planned power outage affecting more than 1,000 customers in Salem is scheduled for next week.
Customers on Flint Street, Mason Street, Oak Street and Grove Street should expect power interruptions starting at 10 p.m. on March 29 until 6 a.m. on March 30. National Grid said customers on other streets in the vicinity may also see their power interrupted.
National Grid said the planned outage is needed to upgrade electric systems in the area and maintain system reliability.
National Grid said about 1,112 customers are expected to be impacted during the outage.
