RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — A man was hospitalized with burn injuries from a garage fire in Rancho Santa Margarita Saturday afternoon. The fire was reported at 2:14 p.m. on Via Belmonte, a short street in Rancho Santa Margarita, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Greg Barta. Firefighters found a man suffering burn injuries at the scene. He had stable vital signs when he was transported to a hospital for treatment, Barta said. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the garage and had it knocked down in 18 minutes. The cause of the fire was under investigation. City News Service contributed to this report.
