Looking for the older man I met on the plane

3/19/22 Met a man on the plane from PVR to SFO. An Older man, he just got done vacationing by himself for 10 days. His buddy was supposed to go with him, but 3 days prior to leaving his buddy was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and could not go. So he vacationed on his own 🥺. His flight got cancelled to LA where he was supposed to have a connecting flight to SLC. Yo be home that night. But instead they put him on the flight to SFO, to then stay the night there, then catch a flight to SLC in the morning. He had an appointment to get radiation for his cancer today 3/20. An experimental type of treatment where radiation goes through the body and seeks out cancer and kills it. He was trying to explain it to me. He was super tired and in pain. I talked to this man for probably 20 mins and never got his name. It’s bothering me. He was a professional tennis player at one time and I believe lives in SLC, lovely man, said I had the most important job in the word, to raise good kids. He was very impressed by how good the boys were. Woke up this AM and he’s been on my mind. Just had to share. Hope this man is alright. Thinking about sharing on missed connections in SLC 😂❤️💕🥺
