MANSFIELD, MA — Willie Nelson is touring again with no plans of retiring - hitting Massachusetts this September as part of his "Outlaw Music Festival." The 88-year-old country singer will headline the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on Sept. 16 with The Avett Brothers, Billy Strings, Brittney Spencer, and Larkin Poe. The 19 date tour will feature a rotating lineup of other popular artists like Chris Stapleton, Brothers Osborne, ZZ Top, and Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, starting June 24 and wrapping up by Sept. 23. "The Outlaw Music Festival Tour has always been about family and friends coming together for a great day of music and fun, and with the amazing group of artists joining us, this year promises to be our most special Outlaw Tour to date, " Nelson told Rolling Stone. "I just can't wait to get back on the road again." Nelson will be joined by members of his Family Band minus his sister Bobbie who died earlier this month at the age of 91. Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 25 at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.
