Boston College Student Assaulted While Walking Off Campus: Police

NEWTON, MA — Brookline police have launched an investigation after a female Boston College student reported that she was assaulted early Friday morning, said Boston College police. The victim told police she was inappropriately touched while walking off campus in the area of 1432 Beacon Street in Brookline. The suspect is described as a male standing approximately five feet and eight inches tall. He was wearing a hoodie at the time of the assault. Police are urging residents to travel in groups, use well-lit routes or designated pathways when traveling in the evening, and avoid being distracted by phone calls or by using ear buds.
