VIENNA, VA — Chickens were in a real "peck-le" Monday morning when a fire broke out in their Vienna coop, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. The fire happened in a chicken coop in the 2400 block of Flint Hill Road. A fire department spokesperson confirmed it was on Flint Hill Elementary School property. The fire did not affect the school building. The fire was put out and all chickens were safe, the fire department reported in a pun-filled tweet. "FCFRD firefighters were im-peck-able in quickly egg-stinguishing the fire," Fairfax County Fire and Rescue shared. "Everyone felt very cluck-y that there were no reported fowl-talities or injuries." There was no immediate word on what caused the fire.
