NEW LONDON, CT — Police are investigating a shots-fired incident in New London. Police received a call reporting up to six shots fired in the area of Vauxhall Street and Channing Street at 10:50 p.m. Saturday. Police found evidence at the scene supporting the report of shots fired. Police contacted and notified area hospitals about the incident. Witnesses spotted a vehicle speeding away shortly after, but it's unclear if this was related to the shots fired. No injuries or property damage were reported.
