Description

NAUGATUCK, CT — A proposed senior living development in Naugatuck has undergone some changes as the developer looks to improve the project and gain approval by the Zoning Commission, wrote My Citizen's News. If a zone change is approved by the Zoning Commission, the project, which is slated for North Main and Wood streets, will have three floors instead of five, according Kevin McSherry, an attorney representing the developers. Additionally, the complex will be square with a courtyard in the middle, instead of L-shaped, according to McSherry. The project, which gained special permit approval in 2020, will hold more than 100 units. The commission will discuss the matter further during a hearing on April 20.
