3 Weekend Shootings In Annapolis Injure 4 Victims: Police

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Police announced that there were three separate shootings this weekend in Annapolis. Officers said four victims were hurt. Shooting 1 The first shooting happened Friday around 8:28 p.m. in the 1100 block of Frederick Douglass Street. Authorities said they found the injured man before medics took him to a hospital in stable condition. Shooting 2 Police responded to the intersection of Forest Drive and Tyler Avenue around 11:23 p.m. on Friday for the next shooting. Officers said they got a call that the injured man and woman were on their way to a hospital. Authorities then found the victims at a hospital. Shooting 3 The Annapolis Police Department said it heard about the final shooting Saturday around 12:29 p.m. Officers turned out to Forest Drive and S. Cherry Grove Avenue and met with the male victim. The victim told authorities that somebody shot him while he was driving on Forest Drive, a press release said. The victim also reported that he first made contact with the suspect and the driver of the suspect's vehicle at a gas station in the 2000 block of Bay Ridge Avenue. Police did not mention if this victim was hospitalized. The Investigations Officers did not list any arrests or motives. Authorities said they are still investigating and will release more details when it's appropriate. Detectives asked anybody with information to call 410-260-3439.
