PHILADELPHIA — More roads throughout Philadelphia are being fixed as part of a major regional project to address deteriorated roads, PennDOT said. This week, crews will be fixing potholes on nearly two dozen roads in Philly. Travel lanes will be restricted as crews work to patch areas of deteriorating pavement. Drivers are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. All activities are weather dependent. Below are Philadelphia roads being targeted this week: Interstate 95 and ramps;Interstate 76 and ramps;Interstate 676 (Vine Street Expressway);U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) and ramps;U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) outer lanes;U.S. 13 (Hunting Park Avenue);U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue);Route 3 (Walnut Street);Route 73 (Cottman Avenue);Route 291 (Bartram Avenue);Route 611 (Broad Street);Aramingo Avenue;Erie Avenue;Cheltenham Avenue;Rhawn Street;Castor Avenue;Frankford Avenue;Girard Avenue;Rising Sun Avenue; andWissahickon Avenue.
