Hospital Theft, Outstanding Warrants: New Lenox Police Reports

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest or charge is not an indication of guilt. March 14 Robin M. Buchmeier, 45, of Park Forest, was charged with retail theft. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, for a report of retail theft. The officer learned that Buchmeier stole a speaker valued at approximately $178. Buchmeier was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Buchmeier posted bond and was released. March 15 Zahrek J. Randolph, 22, of Joliet, was arrested for outstanding warrants. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to the NLPD for a harassment report. After meeting with Randolph, the officer learned that Randolph had three outstanding warrants for his arrest. Randolph was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Randolph was then taken to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.March 16 Kevin L. Johnson, 35, of Naperville, was charged with theft. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to Silver Cross Hospital, 1900 Silver Cross Boulevard, for a report of theft. The officer learned that Johnson stole a phone and credit cards out of another patient's room. Johnson was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Johnson posted bond and was released.March 19 Martha A. Guzman-Chavez, 30, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft. According to police reports, an officer was dispatched to Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Highway, for a report of a retail theft. The officer learned that Guzman-Chavez had taken approximately $80 worth of merchandise without paying for it. Guzman Chavez was arrested and taken to the NLPD. Guzman-Chavez posted bond and was released.
