Press release from the Village of Libertyville: The Libertyville Police Department is selling patches in April for Autism Acceptance Month. This is the first year of an annual fundraiser where officers will have the option of displaying two autism patches on their uniform shirts beginning April 1st. The patches will also be available to the public for purchase from our Records Department at 200 E. Cook Ave. during normal business hours. Patches are $10 each, cash or check made payable to the Village of Libertyville. Proceeds from the sale of the patches will be used to purchase items beneficial to students with autism in D70.
