JOLIET, IL — A 34-year-old Joliet woman has been arrested in connection with the non-fatal stabbing of her husband. The crime happened around 6 p.m. Saturday at the MorningStar Mission, 512 East Washington St., according to Joliet police. Joliet police hauled away Martiza Espinosa in handcuffs, charging her with aggravated battery and domestic battery. Joliet police say a man was stabbed in the upper chest by his wife, Espinosa.
