Press release from the Inver Grove Heights Schools: March 21, 2022 Two Inver Grove Heights Schools fifth graders earned perfect scores in the second of their three WordMasters Challenge meets, and three fourth graders achieved outstanding results. The WordMasters Challenge™ is a national vocabulary competition based on solving analogies above grade level. The competition includes nearly 125,000 students each year. Pine Bend Elementary School's Willa Bauer earned a perfect score of 20 on the challenge in the difficult Blue Division. Only 45 fifth graders in the nation achieved a perfect score during the meet. In the very difficult Gold Division, the Atheneum Gifted Magnet Program's Wyatt Browning, Lenora Gold, and Oliver Pierce earned outstanding results. Atheneum's Finn Christman was one of only 17 fifth graders in the country to earn a perfect score! Congratulations to the students who received such impressive scores, and good luck to students on their last 2021-2022 WordMasters Challenge™ Meet this spring!
