Description

Press release from San Diego County Sheriff's Department: March 18, 2022 All facilities equipped with video visitation will also resume today. The decision to suspend in-person visits was difficult, but necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our detention facilities and communities. We understand how important visitation is to foster connections with friends and families and provide encouragement to your loved ones. We are pleased to welcome you back. For more information, visit www.sdsheriff.gov. Select the detention facility you wish to visit on the Visiting section of our website. Each facility provides a visitation schedule. Call the number provided by each facility to reserve your in-person visit. For video visits, call the numbers provided by each detention facility and someone will guide you through the process of creating an online account to schedule a video visit. To maintain the health and safety of the people in our custody and those who work in our facilities, all visitors are required to wear a mask prior to entering the front lobby and at all times during the visit. We will continue to evaluate and revise these visitation schedules accordingly while still maintaining health and safety protocol.
