FULL-TIME NURSERY PRODUCTION MANAGER WANTED An award winning, professional wholesale nursery & landscape company located in Stevensville, Montana is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Production Manager. This position requires full-time work outside in the nursery and occasional assistance with off-site landscape projects. NURSERY PRODUCTION ASSISTANT MANAGER duties will include, but not limited to: Being able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry up to 80 pounds Overseeing the entire container nursery operation Needs to be a leader that sets a good example Works with the nursery crews to set goals, accomplish tasks, and meet deadlines Manages crews of varying sizes to complete the following tasks in a safe, proper manner: ◆ Production (Potting plants, cuttings and some seed) ◆ Plant care (weeding, fertilizing, pruning, and watering duties ) ◆ Spraying (Fungus, Pests, weed control) ◆ Shipping (Pulling orders, loading and unloading trucks) ◆ Harvesting trees and shrubs ◆ Keeping the nursery yard clean and organized ◆ Working with and around heavy machinery (tractors, potting machines, skid steers, etc.) Skills needed: Must be on-time, ready for work and reliable Managerial Skills-the ability to set and meet goals is imperative Positive attitude, and the ability to work with and manage people Initiative, self-motivated, and team player Communication and the ability to follow directions is very important with this position The ability to work outside in all types of weather Previous Horticultural Experience Valid Driver's License with a clean record Work Week: General nursery hours are Monday through Friday 8:00a.m.- 4:30 p.m. (½ hour lunch break), Full-time year round Possibilities to work more hours throughout the growing season and less hours in the Winter Pay Rate: $15.00-$20+ per hour, Depending on Experience Cash Bonuses Paid accrued time off after passing probation Many opportunities for advancement and pay raises Probationary Period 120 Days Job offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment screen Interested Applicants: Submit Job Service Application or Resume with 3 references to: Nature’s Enhancement, Inc. 2980 Eastside Highway Stevensville, Montana 59870 Nature’s Enhancement, Inc., is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
