If you are looking for a dachshund (or any dog), DO NOT fall into the temptation to buy one from Craigslist!!!!!!! No matter how bad you one one, it’s not worth your money or mental health. This is the second time we’ve been duped by people on Craigslist that seemed to be legit. We are dealing with a puppy with giardia AND sarcoptic mange (SCABIES)!!!!! Both are transmittable to humans. We are living in hell at home now having to bleach the backyard and house and cannot even touch our dog. Poor thing has to be isolated in a crate for about a month. Even if you see pictures of the puppies playing with kids and the people seem normal, it’s a lie. They don’t care who they do this to. I hope I prevent at least one person from making this mistake.
