WANTED: Carpentry, building & labor help. Mid/end of April through May on House Island. TOTALLY FLEXIBLE schedule, duration & number of hours! Some experience required. Compensation is $20+ per hour depending on experience. Parking @ Bug Light in South Portland, and transportation to and from the island provided. Come help set up & open our luxury campground & event venue (and clean-up/prep our 40,000 sq ft historic fort) on this beautiful private island in Casco Bay! Any/all experience preferred: hospitality, housekeeping, carpentry, landscaping, and trail maintenance. Schedule is flexible - start as early as May 1, end as late as mid-October. We are looking for someone who can spend 5-7 nights/week on the island. You would be sleeping in your own tent (no housing in the luxury sites just yet for us employees)! Composting toilets, solar showers, food, weekly stipend, off-duty time, and end-of-season bonus provided.
