I remember obama giving half a billion dollars to solendra to manufacture solar panels. Money disappeared in less than a year and not one solar panel made. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. We spend billions a year on research trying to find a workable substitute to fossil fuel. I hope that at sometime in the future, we find that substitute. Until we do, we have to depend on what works now and throwing a trillion or so dollars out the window is wasteful stupidity.
