i just wanted to make this to say that i love you aiden. i know i sound like a little kid but i really do think we're going to get married someday. you're my best friend and i'm more open and honest and myself with you than i am with anyone else. if i read this in a few years and things didn't work out, that would break my heart, but i will know then like i know now that i am just incredibly lucky to have met you, let alone have you be such a big part of my life. loving you is terrifying. because of everything with my dad, im really afraid how much i love you. any pain that i feel in our relationship is because of that, not anything else. just because i love you so much and the fear of losing you can be overwhelming sometimes. but that's entertaining anxiety. and is silly. you're in california right now at a conference for science. im really proud of you and can't wait for you to come home. anyhow..... i hope im reading this when we're married. i love you with all of me. -j
