ABA Appliance, Inc. is looking to hire a new Shop Assistant. We have been repairing and installing AC systems and appliances in the greater Austin area for over 20 years. Day to day responsibilities include picking up and delivering equipment to our installers and technicians. Assisting technicians on jobs. Helping with operations including maintaining vehicles, our shop, etc Regular work hours M-F 8-5. Requirements are as follows: Positive Attitude Ability to be flexible with responsibilities Valid and Clean Drivers License Ability to drive and operate larger trucks and vehicles Ability to lift 100 pounds Ability to properly strap and secure equipment into truck beds 20 years or Older preferred Reliable transportation to and from our shop each morning we are located in 78757 This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get a foot in the doorway to a long-term career path. Our previous Shop Assistant has moved into the role of appliance technician after being in this role for a couple of years. If proven as a reliable and hard-working employee you will be pushed through the ranks and have the opportunity to be paid while trained as an Appliance or HVAC Technician. 15$-18$/hour w/ upward mobility.
