ST. CHARLES, IL — Figure-skating legend Scott Hamilton will share his message of hope during services at Christ Community Church on Feb. 8 and 9, according to a news release from the church. Hamilton captured a gold medal during the 1984 winter Olympics and, besides his success on the ice-skating rink, he has since become a best-selling author and a speaker and humiarian as a cancer and pituitary brain tumor survivor.
The interview with Hamilton at Christ Community Church's St. Charles campus, located at the northwest corner of Randall and Bolcum roads, will be during the 5 p.m. service on Feb. 8 and the 9 and 11 a.m. services on Feb. 9.
The interview will also be shown via livestream at Christ Community campuses in Aurora, DeKalb, and Streamwood, according to the news release. There is no charge or ticket required to attend any of the services, and all are welcome to attend.
