This is Echo. He is neutered, completed a basic 6 wk obedience training school (documentation included), is crate trained and house broken. He was trained to understand basic commands such as: sit, down (lay down), stay, heel, no (when chewing on things he shouldn’t). He also has a current rabies shot and is registered through the City of Colorado Springs for three years (required by municipal code inside city limits). Echo is a very loving, playful and energetic dog. This sometimes leads to him trying to crawl in your lap on the couch or “wrestle” with you over his favorite chew toy. He also loves to play fetch and go for walks. Some things you need to understand about him: Echo is a rescue from a kill shelter in New Mexico (documentation also included) and suffered some sort of trauma related to baths so it is a slow process to coax him into the bathroom and even slower bathing him. He responds well to a reassuring voice and a scratch on the head. Because of his size (approx. 60-70lbs) my elementary age daughter is scared of him “playing rough”. This is not Echo’s fault, but it has caused issues with him assimilating into our home. This is my primary concern and am now seeking a better environment for him to run and be rowdy without restrictions. I am in no rush to rehome him and there will be a “vetting” process along with a rehoming fee. The fee is largely dependent on if you choose to purchase his additional items such as: 1) Lucky Dog 10 x 5 x 6.5 out dog kennel. Less than a year old, in perfect condition. I’m negotiable on price. Retail from Lowe’s = $469 2) Garmin Barklimiter Deluxe Collar. Also negotiable on price. Retain on Amazon = $99 I will provide his beds (3 total & all in good shape), his indoor kennel/crate & crate mat, raised food/water dish, remainder of food he has, his toys & treats, multiple brushes, collars, leashes, dog harness, assorted shampoos and his nail clippers. These items, along with his shot records and other paperwork, will be provided regardless of whether you purchase the outdoor kennel or bark collar. (The only things that would be purchased are his kennel & bark collar. The rehoming fee applies to him alone and won’t be exorbitant.) As you can see, this dog is well cared for and loved.
