Pemarro is a 10 bed detox treatment center located in Ramona, California. Pemarro is a non-profit ranch-style refuge with a big heart, a great team, and a solid reputation in the community. It was founded in 1984. We are growing and progressing and we want compassionate, reliable, and caring people to grow with us. We are currently seeking a dependable support staff member or LVN nurse for a per diem, part-time, or full-time position for various shifts, primarily for evening or overnight shifts with flexibility. Experience in a substance use treatment center, medical, or mental health setting is preferred and a passion for recovery and people is a must. Candidate must hold current CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to get one immediately. Must have a valid California driver license. Knowledge of substance use disorders, withdrawal signs and symptoms, and current treatment protocols preferred. Must be trustworthy and be able to take action if urgent medical or mental health issue arises. RAD-T is a plus - you may be required to get a RAD-T within months of your start date if you do not have one. You will be assisting in monitoring medication so ability to follow strict processes is critical. Knowledge of Department of Health Care treatment standards and Joint Commission knowledge is a plus. Must be culturally competent. Drug screen, TB testing, health screening, and background check are requirements of employment. Willingness to commute to Ramona is a must.
