ST. CHARLES, IL — The Salvation Army Tri-City Corps is asking for donations from residents throughout the region to restock its food pantry as it works to support people who need help amid the coronavirus pandemic. In the first seven months of the year, the regional corps served more people than it did in 2019 due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a news release. Kane County Coronavirus Cases Reach Highest Levels In 2 Months The Tri-City Corps is set to host a food drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Community Center, located at 1710 S. Seventh Ave. in St. Charles. Volunteers will set up a table in the parking lot for donations, the release states.
