ST. CHARLES, IL — Colonial Cafe is set to close the doors of its Randall Road location for the final time Sunday, paving the way for a new restaurant to move into St. Charles. SYRUP is set to take over the property later this month, offering upscale, "modern farmhouse-meets-luxe" meals for breakfast and lunch, according to its website. SYRUP also took over Colonial Cafe's Algonquin location earlier this year, the Kane County Chronicle reports.
