ST. CHARLES, IL — Colonial Cafe is set to close the doors of its Randall Road location for the final time Sunday, paving the way for a new restaurant to move into St. Charles.
SYRUP is set to take over the property later this month, offering upscale, "modern farmhouse-meets-luxe" meals for breakfast and lunch, according to its website. SYRUP also took over Colonial Cafe's Algonquin location earlier this year, the Kane County Chronicle reports.
In-Person Classes To Start Next Week At St. Charles High Schools
Clinton Anderson, president of Colonial Cafe, said employees at the Randall Road location will be offered jobs at the chain's other St. Charles location on East Main Street or at the new SYRUP restaurant, the Chronicle reports.
