Conduct all necessary meetings and complete/acquire any permits needed prior to beginning the task at hand. • Performs preventative maintenance repairs on all wash plant equipment (conveyor systems, crushers, pumps, compressors, screening equipment, etc.) • Inspects completed work for conformity to statutory and company regulations, checks integrity of equipment used, and ensures that all required tests are done. • Maintains appropriate records, produces written reports, and follows inspection schedules in coordination with Maintenance/ Plant Management. • Responsible for setting up equipment for jobs performed by contractors. • Required to operate heavy equipment when necessary to complete maintenance tasks, and or, assist with yard duties when needed. • Assist with plant operations as relief or temporary operator when necessary to ensure production needs. • Other Duties when needed. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: • High School Diploma or GED required. • Prior 3+ Years experience in aggregate plant or construction maintenance industry preferred. • Ability to use basic hand tools including jackhammers, picks, shovels, and brooms. • Extensive working knowledge and experience performing basic maintenance on equipment is ideal. • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
