CHARLES, IL — After reporting three coronavirus cases during its first week with students and staff back in classrooms, St. Charles Community Unit District 303 told parents of an additional three cases just one day into its third week of the new school year. District 303 officials sent letters to parents Monday notifying them that two people at Thompson Middle School and one at Lincoln Elementary School tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a report by the Kane County Chronicle.
