ST. CHARLES, IL — High school students in St. Charles District 303 are set to be welcomed back to class next week for the first time since schools closed in the spring due to the coronavirus pandemic. The district's two high schools — St. Charles East and North — will begin their hybrid models Monday, though all students will be learning remotely that day. Coronavirus Deaths Surge In Kane County After Weeks With None Under the district's hybrid model, students will be split into two groups based on their last names, with each group attending class two days per week. All students will learn remotely on Mondays, according to the plan. District 303 high school students will attend class from 7:20 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Students will be able to receive remote assistance from 1-2:30 p.m. on their designated days, according to the district's hybrid schedule.
