Dwarf hamster. Free to good home. Must be familiar with hamster care and have proper hamster enclosure. Or you can purchase my enclosure as I no longer need it. Photos of your enclosure will be required (with a piece of paper with your contact information in the frame) for adoption. Any type of enclosure marketed for hamsters and sold at petco/petsmart (critter trail etc) are NOT proper hamster enclosures. Just do a little googling and you will see some examples of what a proper enclosure should look like. Additional information: - He's about a year old and seems active and healthy. - He is shy and doesn't seem to like being held. Maybe if you have more time to tame him than I do, he will warm up to being held. - You can give him treats by hand and pet him gently, and he doesn't seem to mind. - Most hamsters are nocturnal and are more active at night, this one is no exception.
