CHARLES, IL — As St. Charles District 303 schools prepare to move to remote learning after Thanksgiving, a majority of families voiced their hopes to see students back in classrooms next semester, the Kane County Chronicle reports. District 303 Superintendent Jason Pearson on Monday told board members parents overwhelmingly called for their children to learn in person starting Jan. 5, the beginning of the second semester, the report states. When District 303 returns from its Thanksgiving holiday break Monday, all schools will revert to full-time remote learning after coronavirus cases and related hospitalizations hit worrying new highs in recent weeks.
