SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose a half-cent Thursday to $3.161 after back-to-back decreases of one-tenth of a cent.
The average price is six-tenths of a cent more than one week ago, 1.3 cents higher than one month ago but 50.2 cents less than a year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped 44.1 cents since the start of the year.
Over the previous seven days, the average price decreased four times, dropping a half-cent, and rose three times, increasing eight-tenths of a cent.
