KANE COUNTY, IL — Kane County State's Attorney Jamie Mosser was sworn in to her new position Monday, less than a month after claiming victory in her race against Republican Robert Spence. Mosser, of North Aurora, declared victory on Election Night after receiving a concession call from Spence, of Batavia. She served as a prosecutor in New Orleans for several years before her stint in Kane County.
