ST. CHARLES, IL — The 7-11 convenience store on East Main Street in St. Charles was robbed Sunday night by a man holding a knife, according to police. Officers were called around 9:20 p.m. Sunday to the 7-11 store at 2400 E. Main St. by an employee who said a man pulled out a knife as he walked up to the store counter, the St. Charles Police Department said in a news release. 6,300 Without Power In Kane County After Strong Storm Hits Monday The employee handed over an unknown amount of money and the man left, police said. No one was injured. The employee told police the man was about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was wearing a red face covering and a black hooded sweatshirt with a design, police said. The man also appeared to have red dye on his hands, according to police.
