We have begun rehearsals again are putting together performances for late Spring. We are looking to recruit some new musicians to play with us. While we are looking for musicians of all orchestral instruments, We are especially in need of all strings, bassoons, flutes, trumpets, and horns.  The Pops is a unique performing experience in the Salem area as we are a volunteer orchestra dedicated to bringing a variety of popular and light classical music to the community. We play everything from classical, broadway, jazz, and even rock.  If you are interested in joining us to see if the Pops is right for you, please fill out our form at https://www.salempopsorchestra.org/ and join us at a rehearsal. Our rehearsals are Monday nights at 7pm at Walker Middle School, 1075 Eighth St NW Salem, OR. No rehearsal today, March 21, because of Spring Break. Rehearsals resume on March 28. At this time we require all Pops musicians to be vaccinated.
