Boats in by 4:15 PM. Closed to boating and fishing Mondays and Tuesdays. Lake Poway Trout Season: Lake was stocked with 2500lbs. of Rainbow Trout Thursday, December 3rd. This opening weekend saw dozens of limits caught and great shoreline fishing. Riley and Norlene Ros caught their trout on the shoreline close to the fishing pier using mini jigs. Best baits for trout have been natural colored mini jigs, spinners, and power bait. When you stop by concessions to buy your permit keep a 6 ft. distance when in line and adhere to the maximum occupancy for the store. Ask about the best spots and baits. They have up to the minute information. When renting a boat everyone still must bring a face covering and wear it when required. Show picture ID at dock after renting a boat at concessions.
