Warehouse and Logistics Associate Our client is locally owned and operated. Established in 1949, has grown into a regional and national industrial equipment supplier, providing a combination of value-added technical services, engineering, consultation, and quality products to a variety of markets. They provide mission-critical equipment to a wide variety of industries including Fortune 500 companies. Position Summary: The Warehouse and Logistics Associate participates in various operations in the warehouse. These include receiving shipments, palletizing inventory, kitting build and repair parts, warehouse maintenance, order pulling, packing, and shipping. Warehouse employees are expected to maintain a high level of productivity and promote a safe work atmosphere. Responsibilities and requirements include: • Kitting o Assemble Repair Part and Manufacturing Kits • Unload palletized and floor loaded freight • Palletize and shrink wrap orders in safe, stable configurations • Put away palletized or hand stacked inventory in proper locations • Cycle counts of inventory and ad hoc stock checks as directed • Accurately pull, pack, and ship orders while adhering to our guidelines • Gather shipment information (e.g. pallet count, carton count, weight) and create shipment documentation (e.g. Bill of Lading) • Work in a safe and organized manner, keeping work areas clean • Work overtime as required by the Warehouse Manager • Lift up to 50 pounds • Help with other warehouse tasks as needed • Regularly operate warehouse equipment including: o Forklifts (Experience Preferred, Client will Train) o Dock plates/ramps o Manual pallet jacks o Hand trucks o Pushcarts Experience and skills: • Ability to complete simple computer tasks in Standard shipping software • 18+ months' experience in a warehouse operation preferred • Experience driving a forklift is Preferred but not required • High attention to detail is required Shift: Days: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pay Rate: Up to $18/hr. Depending on experience and skills
