You are not a person who crows about yourself in this era of hyperbole and gratuitous self promotion. You prefer for your music to speak for itself. You try not to be too cliched and sing about things that are not just about self pity. Possibly you sing songs that are about fictional characters in what could be actual situations. You also like to groove and appreciate syncopation and some polymetric bars when it is necessary to accommodate a phrase. You are confident and are able to telegraph your musical intentions when your play with others. I play the pedal steel guitar and like to accompany songwriters. I enjoy coming up with parts on the fly and if there is a good connection take it further to work on some recordings. I also sing and play guitar, mandolin, percussion, and vocals. I have a lot of experience so this is not just an experiment for me but a way to embrace a challenge to intuitively catch on to another person's world of music. Ideally you are in West Seattle or have no problem to come to my house. Like most of us, Covid stymied this type of thing for the last two years. My experience with the pedal steel is based on classic 60s country but also "folk" music. I can do a more retro or modern style depending.
