JOB DESCRIPTION Presto Garage & Gutters has been providing high-end results for homeowners since 2001. Our company has a proven track record of success in all aspects of the business and we are looking for ambitious and highly motivated Technicians to join our team! As a Garage Door Technician, you will consult with customers and troubleshoot areas of concern with all aspects of their equipment. You will help them get comfortable with your diagnosis and repair all while maximizing efficiency and performance. WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive Salary: $65,000- 75,000 (Hourly Rate + Commission) Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Paid Time Off Company Van Company issued Iphone/Otterbox Company Uniform Corporate Training JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose, troubleshoot and perform garage door repairs. Must be able to successfully and confidently present and sell effective solutions to customers. Build a rapport with the customers and educate them on all available options of repair as it pertains to all garage door equipment: This includes but is not limited to: openers, springs, sensors, hardware, motors, etc. Provide customers with an exceptional experience at all times. Ensure that the work area is safe and is clean upon leaving the customer’s home. Review work orders for accuracy and completion and that it adheres to established corporate procedures Must be self motivated and reliable! The day begins at 7:45 at the office to pick up the company van and appointments start at 8:00. At least once a month there will be a required Evening and Saturday emergency repair rotation Must be able to effectively communicate and work among all areas of business (management, call center, scheduling, sales, etc) in a positive and courteous manner Responsible for safe driving of company vehicle Responsible for equipment inventory Maintain quality standards and attention to detail at all times. Follow through with customers until issues are resolved and satisfaction is met JOB REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Must be willing to work in the greater Charlotte metropolitan area Technical skills for working in corporate CRM system (uploading pictures, entering notes, etc) Exceptional customer service skills Must be able to perform moderate physical labor and climb up and down a ladder Willingness to be part of a team Pass a drug test Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
