Position : WAREHOUSE/QC MANAGER Reports to : Vice President – Operations Status : Fulltime This is a summary outline of the responsibilities required for the Warehouse / QC Manager with Exponents Insta USA. This description may be modified as determined appropriate to meet changing business needs. Oversees all warehouse / QC activities, including prebuild shipping and receiving materials or goods, maintaining inventory levels. The purpose of the position is to lead the warehouse and QC team and manage resources and timeline efficiently. TASKS / ACTIVITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customerservice standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements. Meets warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions. Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments. Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items. Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements. Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data. Secures warehouse by turning alarms on, testing systems. Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures. Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee’s performance Organize and maintain inventory and storage area Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy Communicate job expectations and coach employees Determine staffing levels and assign workload Interface with customers and vendors to answer questions or solve problems Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices Confer and coordinate activities with other departments Other duties as assigned Keep warehouse as organized and optimized storage Traceability of materials and components must be organized to save time including clients property and special parts Keep control of inventory count in software and identify and arrange short material as soon as project arrives Ensure all return material is organized in racks and keep track inventory Planning of prebuild schedules and manpower planning… manpower days and project matrix Optimize manpower utilization and project schedule that everything ships on time Control quality of prebuilt and ensure every part is packed proper and shipped Training of warehouse and QC team Develop process to optimize productivity and quality Keep the floor clean and organized Address any technical challenges in the process and solve them Coordination with graphics, production, shipping and project manager to run the project smoother.
