The community is invited to come out to WALK.LEARN.CONNECT! at Hillsboro School District’s new Transportation and Support Services Building The community is invited to come out to WALK.LEARN.CONNECT! together on April 1st! WALK around the Hillsboro School District’s new Transportation and Support Services Campus, a second terminal for bus operations on the north side of the School District, which was approved by the community in the 2017 School District capital bond. Construction began in July 2019 and was substantially completed in August 2020. LEARN about all that is happening at this campus, including bus operations, mechanics, the Facilities Department, groundskeeping, and trades shops. We will also learn about the upcoming diesel mechanic and trades career-technical education CTE program for high school students which will take place here. As always, we will CONNECT with our tour guide, with each other, and with another interesting location in our community. Hope you can come! This WALK.LEARN.CONNECT! event is free but registration is required. WALK.LEARN.CONNECT! is a community walk with an educational twist.
