Are you the best dessert decorator? Let's find out if you can Top That! Have you imagined yourself as a contestant on a fun dessert baking show? Well, here is your chance to compete in a friendly dessert decorating contest! Each month will have a different surprise item to build, I can't show you the pictures here because some people might start looking up "how-to" videos, not you of course. ;) What is a Top That! Party? A small group of contestants will gather for a surprise decorating contest. We might be doing cookies, cakes, cake pops, cupcakes, the sky is the limit! You will discover your dessert to re-create at the same time as other contestants - right before you begin. This is pure fun of trying to re-create the dessert with the items available in a short amount of time. Do I need to know how to bake? No. At this time all the items will already be prepared for you. You will have to color the icing or fondant, maybe change the consistency of the icing, and assemble the item, but you will not have to bake it. What do I bring? Just you and your creative spirit! Aprons, food safe gloves, and all supplies are provided. It's a contest? Will there be winners? Ah, yes! Of course, there will be a winner. The prizes vary but will have something to do with baking. What age is best for these parties? This party is for adults, however, there are upcoming Mother's Day and Father's Day parties great for a parent and a child (8+ years old ideal). Where are the classes located? This class will be held at the The Collective- that address is 239 N. Broadway, Edmond. I signed up for a party but can't make it? *sad face* We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 7 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (what a nice friend you are). No other refunds for these parties. Refunds should be requested via Eventbrite. Eventbrite has their own fees, that are currently included in your ticket price. However, I cannot refund the Eventbrite fees, as they keep those no matter what. Allergens: Eggs, gluten, dairy, citrus, and cocoa are present in the kitchen used to bake these desserts. Please consider your allergies before registering. What kind of desserts will be used in the creations? It will vary! It could be cookies, cupcakes, cookies and cupcakes, cake balls or cake pops, pancakes...there really is not limit! What can we expect? Grab a drink and get ready to see your fun dessert build! I will show you all the items you can use, from a variety of tools to a variety of edible items to make your build easier if you are running out of time. You will have what you need to get started at your station, but can move around and get things as you need. I will set a timer (this depends on the items being assembled) after I show you what your goal is for the evening. Everyone will have fun working on their build until the timer goes off. All building will stop and each person will get to show off their creations. We will take a few minutes and each person will cast a secret vote for the one they like best. The winner will be crowned Top That! Champion and given their prize. Pictures will be taken, you will go home with your creations (unless they are eaten before you make it home - no judgement ;)
