Birth Two sets! ALL AGES Birth Longtime Cleveland experimental / improvisatory jazz trio Birth returns to the Happy Dog for two exciting sets! Birth, the seminal experimental jazz band from Cleveland returns to their old home base of The Happy Dog, to the stage the band literally built* back in the simpler times of the year 2000. It's been many years since Birth has performed at the Happy Dog but old school Birth fans will remember a time when the band graced the stage frequently and with a wide array of collaborators from NYC and beyond. On April 1st, the band will return to this well loved haunt, and institution for Cleveland music fans. "We are so excited that this upcoming run of gigs will include a night at the Happy Dog. We've missed playing there. The feeling of intimacy and good energy in that room always provided a perfect backdrop to develop our musical language back in the day, and we made a lot of wonderful memories there," Joshua reflects.
